I'm down to like 64 apps including the standard apps we all have to start with, and I'm still getting the message. So we went through the motions of updating my apps, clearing caches and all that, and later I went through and deleted a bunch of apps I don't use or that looked maybe suspicious. I mentioned it because I thought it might be related, but he thinks it's all because of a 3rd party app. Last night I was talking with Google tech support and the guy was pretty helpful except he was more interested in the fact that my phone freezes sometimes. So basically my OS must have been deliberately changed somehow, right? Except I never installed any launchers or anything, just normal updates to basic Android. It cannot be trusted and may not work properly.' I recieve it every time I do a restart or power down of my Pixel 2XL.
